Warka Tjungu (Working Together) - In association with Tjala Arts
This collection of work features some of Tjala Arts' established artists alongside their strongest emerging artists. These artists have started 2021 with a bang!
Collaborative artworks by Janie and Muna Kulyuru, Tanya and Freda Brady, the Mitakiki Women and the Mitakiki Men are featured in the exhibition, and are striking examples of the power of collaborative paintings.
Individual paintings by the ever popular Barbara Moore and Maringka Tunkin round out the exhibition.

RISING STARS is Outstations annual exhibition celebrating emerging artists; in 2021 we are showing artists’ work from Papunya Tjupi, Maningrida Arts & Culture, Tjala Arts, Tjungu Palya and Jilamara Arts. A strong selection of work including canvas and bark painting, reveals diverse techniques as each artist depicts their stories.
